sweet bitter memories

Two days ago Mathilde's friend Maude arrived Chandigarh. I took them to many places to show the city, we also went for shopping from Sector 22 Markit. (Manoj wired me some money) After shopping, they wanted to see Chandigarh's night life but somehow it didn't worked out and we bought some booze and party in the flat.

Now its time to move on again, we paid the house owner for our stay and left for Shimla. I traveled to Shimla many times and so by toy train its the best way to enjoy nature, but we were not lucky enough as train already left before we reached Kalka ji (a city next to Chandigarh from where you can take a train ti Shimla). Here I felt worth as being experienced. I knew this train does not run fast and stops on the way at many stations, if we take the bus then we can catch it half way somewhere near Dharampur. But as I said it wasn't our day so our bus broke down at Sanmara. The only option left to share a long distance taxi again, up to Solan.

Here we arrived  way earlier than train. So we got some time to eat. Another bad luck, suddenly rain started, we tried to escape from rain and ran towards train station with foods in out hands and bags on shoulders, we were wet and cold. At the same time it was fun and enjoyable experience. (at-least I was enjoying it a lot.)
I wasn't prepared for this situation, without any warm cloths. Mathilde gave me her polar flees and all sat adjoining together on the bench to prevent the cold. How ever it was still enjoyable, siting on a bench watching heavy rain, eating, smoking on the plate form. One and half hour later we bordered the train.
There are few places where train has to stop to pass another train coming from the other side. This is a single track, so it stopped before a long tunnel, we jumped off and took lot of pictures. Our dream came true to go by train, we all were very happy. It was an enjoyable journey though we did not get the seat into train but still we were traveling and having fun.

As we get down from the train at Shimla, rain starts again. My friend had booked a guest house for us so I called the guy. We were tired of standing in the train from last 3-4 hours. Here in mountains on height, its way too cold than plain.

We walked in the rain,  however we reached to that place we supposed to stay but the they refused to accommodate us, because foreigners can not stay at their place. well, it was disappointing and upsetting.  As we kept trying in other hotels and guest houses, either they were costly or if they accept us to stay then one of us have issues. defiantly it was  embracing for us. I tried my best and we knocked the door of every hotel on that hill, most of them were full. Rain was not stopping. I called Manoj again if we can stay at his place, but he lost the key of his house and told me to cut the lock but I didnt wanted to spend my night with this new hassle.
We tried some local agents to find hotel but most of them were very costly or they didnt allowed foreigners. Maude wasn't behaving good too, I could have stay at my friends place or get a room at any place.
Then the point came when Maude screamed and math decided to go away alone, it was too much for me. I said "just go inside and get the room, I will pay." I got the keys and took them to rooms. Now they were calm and saying that we will pay and sorry and Blah Blah Blah . I just paid by my credit card.

From now on I have decided to keep myself clear and will do what I want to do. Good night for now.
